West State Training is a government funded not for profit Group Training Company and is also an employment agency.

The employment agency was created to generate extra income and to allow us to employ our apprentices and trainees after they have completed their training.

West State Training was formed in 1989 by local business people with the intention of creating local employment and training opportunities. Since 1989 over four hundred and fifty employment positions have been created through our Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Job skills, Productivity Places Programs, LEAP and New Work Opportunities Programs.
